Nice. First car I ever drove was an '82 Rabbit. It was a 4-speed, and while it wasn't remotely fast, it sure was fun to drive. All these years later, and I'm driving a Golf today.

My parents had an '80 Rabbit diesel that exact same color. It was a decent car, except when the motor sucked oil through the PCV and started accelerating uncontrollably... Otherwise it was decent!

My mom's first two cars were both Rabbits of that era, I believe. Or maybe it was her second and third cars. I don't remember.
